Hooked
on Phonics(tm) set the standard for
"learn to read" programs and has been the most successful
Direct Response Educational program ever sold, in excess of
2 million programs sold over the past 10 years.

When
the Gateway Corp. contacted Multi-Media, the Hooked on Phonics program
was in the development stage. Multi-Media's goal was to develop
and manufacture a product that would compliment the author's content
and maximize the program's perceived value.

Every
aspect of product development was handled by Multi-Media including
packaging design, graphic design, printing, duplication, assembly
and most importantly, project management and inventory control.

Shortly
after the initial release of Hooked on Phonics, the famed SRA reading
course was added to the original phonics program. With the opportunity
to try something new, Multi-Media's team of designers developed
and pioneered the new Display Corrugated Box.

The
display corrugated "brief case" style box maximizes the presentation
value of the many components in the program while minimizing
defective returns. This new packaging style has since been
used by many of today's largest direct response, infomercial
companies to increase the perceived value of their products.
